Breaking in...
Again a long break... no big reason..oh yeah! FLU caught up with me... 4 days of doing so much as lying on the couch and ordering ppl to bring me stuff.... I don't think I'm completetly outta it... I still feel dizzy all the time and have lost my apetite big time. .... I am never hungry and I sleep for only 3 hrs a day... I must thank all those ppl who bent in to my qualms.. I was gravely confident of missing the Thanksgiving sale.. the biggest shopping day here... had lotsa trouble finding conveyance.... and went to the mall a tad late i guess for all the offers... and it wasn't fun shopping for the first time... finished it bought a couple of consolation things and raced back home.... it has been pretty cold and as i speak i can imagine to the unfathomable depths that I wud shiver on the way back home in a couple of minutes... sorely missing a chaffeur - driven Mercedes, wish I had one or cud in say the next 10 yrs...... and an update on the last post... nothing's moving anyway.. its the same old drab story...but i've grown sick of my own complaints.... so no more of them... saved u all...
Things are moving really slow...its as if the year has ended and everyone's waiting for the next year to begin... things are so monotonous even the popular vekus have dried up.... desperately in need of some past-time...suggestions any1?
Idle as ever
I've gotta lot of blog-catching up to do....will do so this week... apart from watching football matches of just abt every other university team... I'm doing nothing else of worth..... maybe movies are a good respite... watched Pitamagan yesterday.... made me eat my words... did any of u ppl think that that Bala has paid for such nice reviews... never ever has a so ordinary movie being potrayed soooooo good... i mean i heard vikatan gave it a 49.. (anjali, hey ram! if i remember rite got somewhr arounf the same mark...)..and all the other umpteen websites ... it was never really thr... i'm feeling let down... alternatively there's this unhyped never heard b4 movie 28 days - a zombie thriller... which was thoroughly gripping. i would recommend that to all zombie movie - thriller lovers... the alternate endings were really cool... weather's been nice and cold all thru the week.... ofcourse getting colder by the day....
Aahhh! the grapes must be sour....
and so... yet another uneventful yet surprisingly busy day.... things i've gotta finalise keeps on piling even after my thesis defense and i'm still engrossed in that... i hadn't mentioned abt a lucky windfall over the past week!.. i was thrilled at the prospect.. lucky i didn't mention abt that... it turned out not to be a windfall.. but just a breeze and reminded me the true moral of one of the cliched' fables learnt a stone of age back.... "The grapes must really be sour"!
