I've bought a digital camera, one of my long term plans. Fittingly enuf the shipping has been delayed for over 2 weeks.... Nan paatha mathiri evanume deals pathurukamattanu nenaikaren. So now I can join the bandwagon of photoblogs.... take a snap of something weird and call it abstract art.... no offence meant..... nothing extraordinary has happened over the last 2 weeks to blog about.... so wudnt wanna bore any1 for now...

Technology has improved a lot, i know that... but when u can't find the remote and stuck with a "i-don't-know-how-come-u-r-still-watching" shopping channel, u feel it still has a long way to go.... and btw.. happy b'day to my dear friend vt...

Captain's baaaaaack

Captain has planned to start a political party..... To commemorate the decision I had watched thalai's timeless classic "Vanjinathan"..... a story laden with unpredictable twists and turns, subtle romance, wily villains, rip-roaring comedy and more.... this takes me back to the time when I saw it for the first time back in good ol' thanjavur.... times were tough (end of month) ....we had amassed enuf money to go for a 'matter' movie... ana seeing the posters of vanji's action scenes... athuku approm no one ever wanted to watch anything else..... so on to tiruvalluvar A/C ..... excellent moota poochi laden theatre, but who cares... captain padame pullarikavechurum..... funnily enuf there were no breaks ... full 3.5 hrs of "we will meet.... will meet... meet" thaaan.... at the end, two apparently educated ppl were discussing the movie... "ippadi panna thaan saar namma makkal thirunthuvaanga".. that was the moment of truth... captain padam makkala reach panniduchu.... or as captain says... "Lets feenesh the mizzon"...

One more Ind-Pak cricket series.... the last one was magical.... watched the dvd-rips a zillion times... but i am getting accustomed to watching it in mute, 'coz 2 dumb asses behind the microphone ruin everything... u probably know whom I am talking about.... Yup Sanjay Manjerekar and Ramiz Raja... two of the worst ever commentators ever to call a game.... sample this... Whenever a wicket falls, their standard comment .. "its a big blow for india and pakistan"... .. it seems it was BIG blow for both the teams... aaaaah ....u wanna hear how Manjerekar says "Thaendular and Reecochet" ....actually it gets a lot funnier when they're both on air....... Sidhu just seems so Shakespearan (..if that's a word).....
